Meet Peter Cai
Peter Cai is an experienced chess coach with a strong competitive background and a passion for helping young players improve. With online ratings of 2200+ on Chess.com and 2400+ on Lichess, Peter brings both practical playing strength and deep game understanding into his teaching. He was the Norths Chess Club Winter Classic Champion and has achieved multiple best-score results in NSW Junior Chess League tournaments in the 16 and 17-year-old divisions.
As a coach, Peter focuses on making chess lessons clear, engaging, and practical for students of different levels. He has experience teaching chess fundamentals, strategy, tactics, and individual game improvement through both group classes and one-on-one coaching.
